"Stayed in a newly-renovated beachfront unit in F building and it was very sleek, clean, and modern. Great views! Almost felt like I was over the water. Japanese soaker tub in the unit & rainfall shower. Very nice. Beautiful property and very nice staff and amenities. Very beautiful place. "

"We loved going to sleep hearing the waves and feeling the breeze. Kitchen is well appointed. We were 6 adults and a 5 yo. You can see the beach and river but accessing it is not easy. There are plenty of beautiful beaches to explore so just have to plan on driving a little ways. Comfortable beds and great showers."

"Everything exactly as advertised and as do many have reviewed. Great location and possibly the best vacation rental we’ve ever stayed at. North Shore Kauai is a special place and proximity to amazing beaches and Hanalei restaurants made this a great time. Make sure to stop by Hanalei Ouzza for a slice and The Dolphin for drinks, a great steak and lobster tail, and amazing syshi!"

"River Estate is a beautiful home about 15 minutes (driving) from Hanalei. I chose this home because we wanted a quiet place to relax after a difficult year, and River Estate hit the mark. The house is beautiful and clearly loved. The kitchen is very well equipped (more so than most I've seen) with an air fryer, toaster, blender, microwave, food processor (most of which we didn't have a chance to use) and very complete set of dishes and glassware. Furniture is comfy, and we ate all of our meals...

"This is the third time we have stayed here. I love this house. Everything works and there are plenty of things for the beach and all of it is in good working order. It is on the north end and in such a lovely quiet neighborhood. The beach is close by, but there is also a beautiful view of the mountains from the deck. The outside shower is a lovely addition. "

"Unit was fine. Called the property management company twice for help with no WiFi and the overhead fan in the secondary bedroom not working. They had a power outage before our arrival and the WiFi came back on the 2nd day. Maintenance never did show up to fix the fan issue, even though they were promised to come twice. "
