"It’s a small little hotel right on the beach. The views of the ocean are amazing. They have free continental breakfast and the pool is nice. Would be prefect if they had a hot tub. There is a restaurant onsite that opens for dinner. Food was good. There’s plenty of shopping nearby. Safeway is across the street and there are lots of restaurants within walking distance. "Beautiful boutique hotel with a relaxing vibe. All staff team members were great and very accomodating to all of our needs. Would like to especially applaud Dawn at the front desk, night shift . We didn't quite change over to the time zone and she was such a delight in the early morning hours, even grabbing coffee for me before Normal Cafe hours . "lovely peaceful old world place. Beautiful grounds. If you are looking for the antithesis of the high rise tourist hotel, this is it! The black sand beach is great for walking or riding horseback, but not swimable. ( the pool is popular) We loved sitting on our porch in the morning looking at the ocean hearing the birds. "This is our second time at this resort but our first time in this unit. The room was comfortable and clean. Beautiful view of the pool and small ocean view. Loved the full size fridge. This resort is fantastic! The location is perfect for heading north toward Princeville or south and west into Poipu and Waimea. The resort amenities are excellent. If you arrive before 4:30pm on a Friday, they have a Hawaiian show by the pool that’s a free mini luau. We will definitely stay here again!"

"We like Plantation Hale because it is centrally located. We have family on the North Shore and in Kapaa and we love to visit the beaches and trails on the South and West sides of the island. The condo is right next to the Coconut Market Place and a great big ABC store which sells food and gifts and necessities. Pool areas are great and the beach was very nice and clean with a good sandy area for lounging etc. Being on the windward side of the island not to great for swimming at this beach big currents and waves otherwise real nice.
