"We stayed for 1 night (New Years Eve) as we were eating nearby with friends and it was very convenient to stay here and get a good night sleep. Had a lovely view of Auckland city and the sky tower. No parking on site though and so had to park on a side street further away as there was no parking on the road in front of the place either. "

"Aachen House is a stunning historic building. Full of character and history . So much more interesting than a normal hotel room. My room was huge and comfortable with a balcony and a seperate bathroom. The bath was amazing."

"We enjoyed our overnight stay at Bavaria, and wish we had longer. We were made to feel very welcome, and its a relaxed friendly atmosphere. Our room was spacious with the amenities we expected and we enjoyed the shared dining space for breakfast. The free offstreet parking was great thanks. Close to eating places and local countdown. Thanks for having us."

"We loved the apartment and private deck. Tatiana is a fabulous host!! Without much notice, she rented to us a second time when another rental in downtown Auckland cancelled our reservation suddenly. "

"Lovely cabin right on the water, spacious and airy. Well furnished and nice nautical touches. Bed very comfortable, kitchen well enough equipped for meal prep. We enjoyed watching the ever changing light, tides, birdlife in this peaceful waterside spot."

"日本からです。施設も普通に綺麗で、惚れ惚れしました。 New Zealandは車社会(オークランドは特に) レンタカーを借りて来ましたが、無いときついかな。ネームタグを見ると日本人も宿泊していると思われるので、旅慣れした方や一人海外旅行してる方にはいい所だと思います。バスタブは🛁良かった👍 また来たら利用しようかな！"

"The location is close to the Town and ferries. Very quiet. Would have loved a little kitchenette with tea and coffee facilities in our room. Hosts David and Tracy were fabulous very knowledgeable about the area."

"Firstly we had to chase up the owner for the key code, Sam had not forwarded this. The apartment had a musty/damp and cooking smell to it. Open bowls of food in the fridge exuded further odours. We were given only one towel to share, the bathroom was not of a cleanliness standard for Air B& B There was no ventilation apart from opening a balcony door which was necessary for overnight. We had to search for a bed cover as the one left provided very little warmth."

"This property was safe and secure. Car parked on red over night was safe. House was well set up with fresh repairs and paint."

"Very disappointed, we were double booked. Told to wait outside In the dark with no explanation for 20 minutes. Admittedly a room was prepared for us upstairs in main house however we had to share bathroom with family and the room was so small we had to leave out suitcase outside the door. Parking was difficult as it a very steep drop off from the road."

"My experience is that I walked into a room with an unmade bed, dirty wet towels on the floor & empty nutri grain box, we did not stay there & have not heard from them even though they say they have 24/7 help desk, no one has answered my repeated attempts of contact so not happy at all"

"Sadly not so good, convenient spot. This is a Hostel, own bedroom, but share kitchen/combined seating area, and bathroom with strangers. Tiny, not big enough for Hostel. Certainly not clear on Adverts. Everyone who came said the same, very unclear. Not cleaned, old dirt. no loo paper. Bins overflowing, outdoor verandah dirty overgrown. Very big family from overseas there when I arrived, also in my room? Supposed to be 2 per room. If advertised as a single B&B and cleaned, ok, but not good at...

"A quaint lodge in a beautiful and secluded setting in the Waimauku countryside. The property has everything you could need and the breakfast food provided was great. It was clean and quiet and only a 5 minute drive from the nearest town. Would definitely stay here again!"

"Hotel is situated in a beautiful park. Very central and walkable distance to Queen street, K’road and other busy areas. Hotel is dated, but mostly well maintained. Our aircon in the room didn’t work but we were provided with an electric fan. The main pool was green for our two day stay. Reception staff very friendly and helpful."

Holiday Inn Express Auckland City Centre, an IHG Hotel

"The Holiday Inn Express was a great hotel, right in middle of all the action we wanted. The breakfast was beyond good, variety and quality. The only issue we had was we ordered a pizza from the reception, in hotel menu and it was awful, and very expensive for what we received. In Vancouver the Holiday Inn Express where we always stay when we’re traveling offers complimentary tea and coffee. We were charged $5 for a cup of lukewarm black tea. Not impressed!! The staff were very accommodating!! Thanks you !"

"This property is in an excellent location. Shopping on Qeens St is only few minutes walk. You can get to ferry and cruise ship in 10 minutes. Area is very safe to walk at night. Our room was spotless and the shower was great…..lots of hot water."
