"As promised, this was a classic basic bach. Sun all day on the deck. The wifi worked so I could access online tools for study. Appreciated the mosquito net over the comfortable bed. Short walk to the cafe, short drive to wonderful waterfall walk. The host was onsite and very accomodating. "

"We loved the property but thought we should mention that this property is managed by another company so contacting them wasn’t simple. There was little to no information provided except lock box code. Piha had the most mosquitos on our whole trip so sleeping with windows open to keep the place cool was troublesome. However the property was beautiful as was the location. Getting in and out of the driveway was also interesting especially if you have a larger vehicle. "

Even our small foxy fell down while going down and coming up these stairs and refused to use the stairs. No communication made with manager. The area is residential but just 5 mins away there's a great bus service into the city centre (20mins) and to the nearby beach [10mins]. Parking is available but we used public transport to explore Auckland and the coast. "
