"This is a very pretty, instagram able hotel. It is clean and the staff was very nice. The reason I am not giving it 5 stars is that the rooms do not have a deadbolt, chain, or other way for someone inside the room to lock the room so that a hotel employee with a key cannot enter. This is a dealbreaker for me - I would not have stayed here if I had known. The reason is that years ago in another country a hotel employee entered my room with a key and assaulted me. "Very quiet, no sulfur smell. It's right on the lake and you can watch the sun rise every morning. Be aware some of the rooms are actually 2 rooms joined together! They don't advertise this well. I was unpleasantly surprised to find I (traveling solo) had booked 2 hotel rooms! The manager seemed really reluctant to do anything until I escalated my complaints to the owner. "The owners were so accommodating and the property is spectacular! We were greeted with a complimentary cheese board and enjoyed a bottle of wine on our private balcony that over looked the bay. Our room was clean, quiet, and full of character. Breakfast in the morning was perfect! We loved our experience, partially because of how knowledgeable and kind the owners were.
