"We decided to try this Chalet for 2 nights while visiting Annecy. Somehow I expected it to be closer to the city--turned out to be a 40-minute drive each way. Looking back at the property description I see that they say the lake is 38 minutes away, so maybe I just missed this originally...? The building is beautiful, apparently custom-made to be a home with extra bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs for quests. "Très bon séjour, Cadre paradisiaque, belle chambre entourée d’animaux. Lit très confortable et douche nickel. Petit déjeuné sympa, peut être un peu cher. "The guesthouse was situated in an nice autentical house thar was furnished with taste. Lots of shared space like a kitchen and living room and even garden. Marc was an excellent host. Breakfast was very nice with warm baked bread ansd self made fruit salade. Nice bed and shower. Due to the warm weather i was happy with the fan. I warmly recommend this place !"

"Can't give enough superlative comments about our stay at La Jour . A lot of character / color at our room, Le Prairie . Host , Mr. Alain was great . although not in city center Geneva, within 5 minute walk ( I timed it) to no. 22 bus , and you are at Gare Cornavin within 12 minutes , very "country /suburban " feel to the neighorhood . We brought back dinner 1 nite , and sat at the patio table . If you are not happy to stay here , you are too demanding a traveller "

"This is a fantastic property. My wife and I stayed 2 nights as our base for exploring Geneva. It is close to public transport, though we chose to Uber in and out of the city at about 30 Euro each way. It is right next door to a Lidl (underground in the next building) and has a great sized parking garage with reserved spaces.
