"The Buena Creek Refuge is indeed a beautiful refuge. We felt relaxed the moment we popped out of the cars. Nine of us spent 6 nights celebrating our 50th anniversary and visiting the area attractions. It was wonderful to have the Refuge to come home to rather than some hotel. The 2 grandkids loved the pool and climbing to the gazebo almost as much as Legoland. Great kitchen, indoor and outdoor dining areas and did I mention 5 king beds! Our host was easy to communicate with and I enjoyed all...

"The property was very nice, quiet and peaceful. It was clean and decorated nicely. However, I do wish there were more options for pots and pans. Also, even though it is nicely decorated, I believed it was bigger than what it actually was. We were a bit cramped. Lots of sleeping options but not a lot of common space. Overall, it was a nice place and we enjoyed our stay."

"I was traveling alone on this stay and needed a one night solution before meeting up with a friend for a short road trip. Nancy’s Casita was ideal. I felt perfectly safe and enjoyed a quiet evening reading a book. The unit was clean and well appointed, and the bed was very comfortable. I would book a return visit if ever staying in Vista again. "
