"This is a wonderful modern hotel. The room was great, great views. Friendly staff. An awesome wellness area. Great dinners and the breakfast was amazing. They will pick you up and take you to the train station for a fee. Easy to get there by taking the gondola to Furi and then a 5 minute walk to the hotel. Would love to go again!!"

"Quiet area. Rooms are quite small, but that's expected in an older European hotel. Had a nice powerful shower stay! You check in at a neighboring hotel and walk a few meters to the Alpina. There is a nice large lounge area where you can also sure your luggage if needed. We had a small chain to keep ours secured, but I don't think it was necessary. I would stay here again."

"Just a 5 minute walk to the train station although they also have a small shuttle to pick you up or drop you off (which helps if you have much luggage). There is a grocery store just 2 minute walk as well and it’s about 10 minutes to old town area. The shuttle train to the viewpoint for the Matterhorn is just across the street from the train station. Accommodations, food, and staff were terrific."

"Stayed for two nights and needed to switch rooms after the first night because we stayed in an attic type room with low ceilings which was not for someone tall like myself. But they were very accommodating and helpful in moving our luggage to the new room when we were out visiting the Matterhorn. When booking the room, you are listed with them at a certain price, I needed to pay an upgrade fee to get a room on the higher floor with a view of the Matterhorn but it was worth it. "

"Stayed one night here, after 2 nights at the nearby Hotel Parnass. Parnass was much less expensive and a better value. Had a much larger room at Banhof, but unlike Parnass there was no free breakfast (Parnass has a large and excellent breakfast buffet). Also, my shower had a slow drain and very quickly was standing in a couple of inches of water while showering. Otherwise, very comfortable and convenient.
