"The address given is not accurate and it took us ages to find, we had to hope that the host read the messages, he then gave us the address. This is listed as an English speaking host which is not accurate. We struggled to communicate. The place is advertised with a pool but this was out of bounds due to the drought, we understand this but we should have known before arrival. We had no hot water at all during our stay and we could not contact the host despite messaging and ringing the door...

"Lovely stay. Eloi is a superb host, for whom nothing seemed too much trouble. The property is in a superb location, with fabulous views over the mountain to the border with Spain. Privacy is guaranteed, but you do have to enjoy isolation, as the nearest shops and bars are a hair-raising 25 minute drive up and down the mountain on a very narrow, twisty road. The woods are quiet and peaceful, and there are marvellous walks from the front door - follow tree forest road up into the mountains till you reach a stream, where after a steep climb on an overgrown local trail you can join the grand randonée and have incredible views down towards Céret.
