"The address given is not accurate and it took us ages to find, we had to hope that the host read the messages, he then gave us the address. This is listed as an English speaking host which is not accurate. We struggled to communicate. The place is advertised with a pool but this was out of bounds due to the drought, we understand this but we should have known before arrival. We had no hot water at all during our stay and we could not contact the host despite messaging and ringing the door...

"Lovely stay. Eloi is a superb host, for whom nothing seemed too much trouble. The property is in a superb location, with fabulous views over the mountain to the border with Spain. "We are a group of 8 and just had the most fantastic 2 weeks in this house. Views are spectacular, the house is well equipped and very spacious and the pool was a good size and a nice temperature. All bedrooms open up on to the balcony where you can watch the sun rise & deer grazing on the garden. Buzzards & kites flying over every day. Market at Prades on Tuesday is worth a visit and also Fort Liberia - if you don’t take the 800 steps up then be prepared for a adventurous & very bumpy jeep...

"What a brilliant place for our multi-generational group of friends and family. The setting is beautiful - very peaceful, with fabulous views of the surrounding woods and mountains. The property worked really well for us, with something for everyone - particular favourites included the pool, board games, books, TV, table-tennis, and the space to relax on your own if you wanted peace and quiet. Another bonus for us was being able to walk/hike/run direct from the property. A great week, thank you!"

"We had a great stay here. The house and pool are excellent and the location is beautiful and very peaceful. George was very friendly and welcoming and responded quickly to little requests we made. We felt that the description of the location could be a little more precise.The access road is quite rough and tricky to negotiate in places after heavy rain. Also guests need to be aware that they will be at some distance from the nearest village and shop.That said, it might just be what people are...

"Nous avons passé un bon séjour, dans cette maison d’apparence extérieure et chalet à l’intérieur !!! Nous étions 16 : 8 adultes et 8 enfants de 14 à 5 ans . La pièce de vie est de très bien en terme de taille et d'agencement avec une magnifique vue ... la terrasse est petite mais agréable. Les échanges avec le propriétaire ont été très simples, il nous a permis d’arriver et de repartir à l’heure que nous désirions . Fatima qui est là personne qui s’occupe entre autre de la remise des clefs...
