"All rooms are ocean front view-beautiful! Room was very nice and comfortable. But general Facilities were not well maintained. Walls were chipped, floor cement by the pool was faded and chipped. Definitely didn’t feel like a newly built hotel (April 2024). Felt like it’s been worn down for 10 years already. Food was very bad and there’s no other food options outside the hotel. People in Mazatlán are very nice and the workers were very kind. "

"this is an older property but has been kept clean and well. service was excellent but their restaurant was pricey. We didn't have an impression of pushy sales people for the timeshare thing. In fact they never even bothered to ask us but noticed the first day that it was a time share. We love the cave pool and felt like we didn't have to go outside of the hotel. I was impressed the female trainer for the hawk would come out to the pool area for the families to experience! Should be called El Cid...

"Overall our stay was comfortable. There was the odd issue with water pressure in the room, but it never lasted long. The hot tub for some reason never got hot. Not sure why.
