"Phi hotel is right in the heart of the old town, within a few minutes walk to the main square. We stayed at an annexed apartment that's really spacious, with a kitchen, two bedrooms and bathrooms. "The hotel is located in the absolute best location! The room was very comfortable but there is no cleaning service (new towels) unless you ask in advance. There is also no shampoo and conditioner; just the body wash, and no body lotion. This seems to be the new normal in Italian hotels unless they are 5 star. Not really an issue though because there is a Coop store directly next door. We would definitely stay there again. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was great."

"It was a fantastic place to stay, we thoroughly enjoyed it and undoubtedly we will return if we visit Bologna again. The only reason I didn’t give it 5stars is because the shower didn’t have sufficient hot water one morning. Often, this would bother me more but because everything else was SO good, it paled into insignificance!! The staff were also particularly accommodating and hospitable. Many thanks!"
