"Isabel was at checkin and was very friendly. We had changed our reservations and they were accommodating. BUT the room we were in had a serious plumbing or septic issue. It was very smelly and they must have been aware of this before putting us in this room. Also, there was an outside light that was on all night shining into our room. we were told it could not be shut off. The location is great and Sagres is a wonderful town with great vibes. Hopefully this was just our experience and management...

There’s a selection of top quality restaurants in Burgau…fresh fish and seafood readily available. We enjoyed Miam, Barraca, the beach bar….all exceptional. "The spacious place was sparkling clean and the rooms were nicely decorated. I appreciated the host allowed to store some stuff in the fridge and use the kitchen to prepare breakfast. The beds were good and comfy. There was a coffee maker with capsules and an electric kettle too. Very quiet at night (unless you have noisy neighbours in the other rooms) since it's not in the city. Your own car is a must (unless you're doing the Vicentina walking route). "
