"The hot tub which we were looking forward to using, was indoors in the bathroom and when we arrived we were told that it wasn't working. A big disappointment which spoilt the holiday. When we saw the advert there was a TV but actually there wasn't one there (also disappointing) and we think it has now been removed from the description. The parking space is unlit so in the dark we had to leave the car headlights on to see where we were going until we could put the house lights on. The steps up...

"The bed was very comfortable. The apartment had everything we needed and more. We loved it here. Only one word of caution for older travelers: the stairs in the apartment can be treacherous. I fell down twice before I got the hang of it. "

"The pool was closed and has been for some time as they are rebuilding it. This was not advertised when booking nor was it communicated to us afterwards. Bike hire and meals also need to be arranged the day before , again this wasn't communicated to us when booking or when speaking to the reception on the phone prior to arriving. It's a lovely village but I think it's not ok to advertise facilities that aren't available as this was a big reason why we chose it. I would definitely go again though...

"Our host Karolina was very pleasant and friendly. The cottage was adorable. The location was between towns, Burgaus and Luz. We easily walked to one and could have taken a longer walk to the other. Beaches nearby were lovely and the cliffs spectacular."

"We have stayed several times in Lagos but this was the perfect place for us. The property is just outside Lagos but beaches town and supermarkets are all about aten minute drive away. The setting is very peaceful and quiet so ideal for relaxing outside and looking out at the wonderful views. If you are feeling active you can quickly access the coastal path and walk to the beach. Simon and Ana Maria are wonderful hosts and ensure you have all you need. We look forward to our next stay there...

"- Berta was incredible welcoming and made our stay a home from home. - Very quiet location with beautiful grounds - Umbrella tree; great for having breakfast under. - Close to Lagos and other highlights of the Algarve. "This cabin is super cute and located in the slow village. The antique furnishings were beautiful. We were able to walk to the restaurant and pizza place, and our kids walked down the street to see the chickens many times. The restaurant was really yummy (chocolate mousse with salt) and the pizza place was just average and only took euros. The only thing I would wish for is a fan. It got warm upstairs at night, and we could not leave the windows open because mosquitoes would get in. The bbq area...
