"During our week long stay the water stopped running one afternoon/evening and we lost electricity one afternoon/evening. This interrupted our dinner plans for 2 of our 7 evenings. The property is very nice with incredible views of mountains and sea. However the location is difficult to find and there was no organized check in process. Suggest that if this property is subject to random water and electric problems this should be disclosed to potential renters."

"My wife and I stayed for a week in this beautiful, well-appointed apartment in a great location for touring Crete. It feels like a palace with marble floors throughout and doors to the outside in every room. The view of the sea across the road from the apartment is spectacular. There is a beach and many restaurants and services within easy walking distance. Maria is an outstanding host, going above and beyond to provide for your every need. "

"We absolutely loved our stay in Kissamos. The location was perfect. It was an easy walk to a couple of beaches and our son loved the ice cream shop downstairs. I bought local fruit and vegetables just steps away from the apartment. The host was responsive and helpful with recommendations. The landlady came and cleaned often and even baked us cakes! Overall we loved it here and can’t wait to return."
