"During our week long stay the water stopped running one afternoon/evening and we lost electricity one afternoon/evening. This interrupted our dinner plans for 2 of our 7 evenings. The property is very nice with incredible views of mountains and sea. However the location is difficult to find and there was no organized check in process. Suggest that if this property is subject to random water and electric problems this should be disclosed to potential renters."

"My wife and I stayed for a week in this beautiful, well-appointed apartment in a great location for touring Crete. It feels like a palace with marble floors throughout and doors to the outside in every room. The view of the sea across the road from the apartment is spectacular. There is a beach and many restaurants and services within easy walking distance. Maria is an outstanding host, going above and beyond to provide for your every need. "

"We absolutely loved our stay in Kissamos. The location was perfect. It was an easy walk to a couple of beaches and our son loved the ice cream shop downstairs. I bought local fruit and vegetables just steps away from the apartment. The host was responsive and helpful with recommendations. The landlady came and cleaned often and even baked us cakes! Overall we loved it here and can’t wait to return."

"We had a wonderful stay at this nicely appointed property and would return again. The sound of the sea was wonderful and calming and whilst the road is busy, as the bedrooms are at the back of the property, there are no issues with noisy traffic. It's unusual to stay somewhere with an excellent shower, however the drainage in the bathroom does need rectifying. The communication with the host/travel agent was excellent. "We stayed in an ocean view room and the view was beautiful. Nice breeze. Location is high up with steep slopes, not feasible for older and those with bad backs. Property has elevator to avoid the slope but is hard to find. Definitely helpful once it is found. Interior could use some upgrades. But it was clean and comfortable enough. Enjoyed my stay. "
