"The hotel is in a convenient location, just a 5-minute walk to the train station, which was a big plus. There are also mini-markets nearby, making it easy to pick up essentials. However, the area around the hotel could use some improvement, as the sidewalks were littered with beer bottles and clothes. Despite this, I never felt unsafe walking to the hotel. My main concern was an incident where some local guests made xenophobic and threatening comments. Unfortunately, the hotel staff stood by as silent spectators during this encounter, which was disappointing. While I understand the hotel is not responsible for the behavior of guests in the area, I would have appreciated more proactive support from the staff to ensure guest safety. Overall, the hotel itself is great, and the location is convenient, but addressing these issues could make for a much better experience for future guests."

"I liked this hotel for the convenience of having termini a block or two away, I had heard termini was a sketchy area and honestly it’s not and I was a female solo traveler so in terms of security it’s a good hotel, the staff was always friendly and helpful, the breakfast is simple but great to have something for the day I did see some coworkers in the dining area fight which made the environment a bit awkward but not my business, some dishes were dirty with dry old food when they were supposed to be clean, yes you can tell the hotel is old but it’s nothing bad specially since it was remodeled, I was not expecting to get my room cleaned every day as most hotels in Europe won’t but they did and it was another plus, but the only downside truly was that I could hear absolutely everything like literally everything which at times was uncomfortable and aggravating, but again that is probably in every hotel, and honestly I would stay there again as there are more good things than bad ones. Of course when booking a hotel you look for what you want and is convenient but if you are considering this hotel just do it because if you are like me, you will not even be there other than to sleep if you are a tourist and will have a busy schedule. "

They met us outside, took our bags and took great care of us during our entire stay. I HIGHLY recommend this hotel if anyone visits Rome!! The hotel made my experience a great one. The hotel staff was also so kind, welcoming and helpful. Walkable to so much, including the 2nd largest metro and train station in the city. Could not recommend it more!!"

"We feel very luck to have found Hotel Madison. From the outside it appears very nondescript. When you enter you are immediately greeted by friendly staff. Lorenzo checked us in - was very helpful and friendly. Our room was very large, very clean and very safe. The size, comfort and amenities is unique for Rome at the offering price. It was great to just get off the train and walk right across to hotel Madison. I highly recommend this hotel."
