"Property was amazing, directions were spot on and it was beautiful. The spiral staircase was tight and definitely not kid friendly. The bathroom upstairs and showered were great!!"

"We loved our stay here and the flaws were minor. But they were, still, slight annoyances. We arrived in the late afternoon, right at check-in time (4:00pm) and followed the direction to get in the front door. Annoyance #1: Once you find the key in the lockbox, actually getting the front door unlocked and open is a challenge. Judging from the comments left in the guest book, this has been an ongoing annoyance for years. Annoyance #2: It was chilly when we arrived and we looked for instructions on...

"Overall good experience. The place is in a quiet area. There is a wedding venue nearby, so when I arrived on Friday I could hear loud music, but it was over before 11:00 pm. The rest of the weekend was very quiet. I loved seeing deer on my porch. One thing I didn't like was pretty dark bathroom, so it was difficult to do make up. Also, lack of any counter space or shelves in the bathroom. As a woman on a long trip I'd like to have at least a small space where I can place my cosmetic bag. "

"I think I’ve stayed at this property at least 8 times since 2001. I love this house, this lake, this property, this area. If you fish - especially fly fish- this lake is beyond special. It actually is leased and maintained by the Oregon Fishing Club and it private unless you stay at this house/cabin. The house is way cool - logs cabin, stone fireplace, knotty pine walls, etc. It has all the usual amenities. The decor is perfect for the area, and the new property owners are very nice people. "Sunrises over the mountain out the front door. A herd of Elk 50+ strong grazing out front one morning. 20minutes in any direction from amazing waterfalls. Host was quick with responses and left us a bunch snacks! We loved this little cabin and 10/10 will be recommending to friendsa"

"We enjoyed our brief stay in this cabin. It was close to the rest of our itinerary and had great scenery. It was also really nice to be able to wake up and walk to coffee and breakfast just down the hill. Our TV, was not working, but the owner was quick to respond and refund a portion when the issue couldn't be resolved. We would have loved to use the fire pit, but it was raining when we were there. Next time! "

"We were out in the area for a short time. Cabin was great. Perfect for our needs. Close to many trails and in between 2 towns. Nice view. Hosts were awesome, left us snacks. I would stay again, but it is a small, 3 peeps is too many perfect for 2."

"Nicely appointed, attractive, comfortable, clean log cabin. Bright and sunny while surrounded by a forest. stayed here for a wedding, 3 nights. Near the cute town of Stephenson with many hiking and water activities. Would stay here again, no question! "

"Mosier, OR, is not a big place, but it is in the Columbia gorge, which has hundreds of trails to hike, bike, etc. This cabin puts you right there, within a short distance to any number of outdoorsy things. Then you can come back at the end of the day and relax in the cozy cabin. I stayed in October, which was perfect for hiking. The cabin's proximity to local Mosier businesses is also good. Obviously you need to get your daily coffee from Randonee Coffee, which is literally a few steps away....

"Loved the views, they were truly amazing. The couch and the master bed were comfortable. Loved that we had access to back-up supplies as needed, and the washer and dryer. We were grateful for that. Conveniently located between Hood River and the Dalles which was perfect for our needs. Overall, we really enjoyed this property. The views and comfort compensated for a few things that need to be addressed. Batteries need to be replaced in the remotes, we looked for back-ups and could not find any....
