"The large dining area beside the BBQ was very hot, partially due to the air conditioning units being there. So we had to move tables and chairs around on the upper balconies to get a shady enough area for ten of us to sit and eat."

"Our 2nd stop on this trip to Greece, was Almyrida at Villa Varvara. Outstanding clean private local and accessible. We found it to be a great base for exploring the west side of Crete. the local shops and eateries near the property were just what we wanted small local excellent fare. Walking distance down to beach chairs and the ocean.The views from ALL the balconies of the property are breathtaking. "Was very enjoyable stay, hosted s provided lots of valuable information. Pool was wonderful for kids and big kids. Market, restaurants, bakery and coffee shops all within walking distance. Bus stop block away from villa. There were 8 of us but lots of room!! I would stay here again."

"House was clean with breathtaking views as advertised! Was not prepared for steep hill access to villa. Took a few trips to be comfortable with the drive; recommend a SUB rental.Communication with owner and house manager was on point. Owner provided detailed directions, as per location and surrounding areas. However, still have to be careful with GPS directions as it can take you areas that are not suitable for tourist driving. We had a wonderful family trip, and would recommend Villa Cassandra!"

"We all had a wonderful time on our family vacation. The house was very comfortable and clean. The outdoor spaces of this villa are beautiful beyond words. The owners of the home were very nice and welcoming! Katrina even gifted us a few of her pictures which she painted. There are three tavernas within walking distance. They were also awesome! We definitely recommend this experience! Wish we could have stayed longer!"
