"I had a wonderful stay at one of the best hotels in Italy during my holiday. The location was perfect—shopping was just downstairs, restaurants were everywhere, and the bus stop was only a few minutes’ walk away, just 3-4 stops from the train station. The service was fantastic, and breakfast was delivered right to our room, allowing us to enjoy our meal in privacy. The receptionist was responsive to our requests and served us with great joy. "Lords of Verona is a great hotel! The location is perfect - within walking distance of all major attractions in the downtown area. The rooms are beautiful, clean, and comfortable! You can hear music in the square, but they stop in the evening and it’s very quiet."

"This was a spacious, clean, convenient and affordable property in the heart of Verona that we stumbled upon, and I am so glad that we did!! The unit layout is modern inside a historic building with a view of the arena and the delightful Osteria Puntara just around the corner. "Spacious room, but very sparsely furnished, although functional. Beds were more like cots. Breakfast was good. Great location & within walking distance of R & J balcony (a big disappointment btw!) pouring rain & free parking area up the hill was muddy & filled with huge potholes. Residenza was on a one way street so best to drop your luggage off on the way up the hill to the parking area. Person who checked us in was nice & friendly, but spoke almost no English."

"This was one fantastic experience. I would highly recommend Illasi Dream Rooms. Elisa was fabulous and helpful. She even helped us by ringing the taxi company and confirming our booking as we cannot speak Italian. Rooms were clean and elegant. Illasi town is a treasure and a great place to beat the crowds. Regular 40 min bus ride to Verona. Excellent in all respects. "

"Arrived a day late due to transport problems. Couldn’t contact them by phone, sent several messages, no one replied! Expedia helped with contact eventually. On arrival at the place we found it was more like a house share, even had a shared bathroom, with the owners son. The plug wall sockets were hanging off the wall! "Was a very good size for a family of 5"

"This villa is lovely and old and very spacious. The hosts are beyond charming and so helpful. We were able to enjoy being in the country while also being very proximate to cities, towns, wine tasting and other activities, like hilltop hiking. The kitchen was not the most convenient for home cooking for Americans used to a more modern kitchen, but we managed. Our hostess made our first dinner, which was so nice and so delicious. This is an optional add-on. "
