"I wasn't so happy with the property. Our first night was horrible. The room became so cold at around 3 or 4am. I was shivering but the warmer is set to 21' but they could have turn of the heating..second is that there was no sufficient towels. Normally if you enter a hotel or aparthotel you get the towels for the number of days you are staying i,e 4 days, then 4 towels for every person. Next the soap, shampoo or lotion. They gave us only one pair of small.bottles shampoo, hairbody and lotion and nothing more, so for only one day. Next thing cloth for wiping the plates is only one, and there was not even a microfibre cloth to clean your table after eating. No cleaning products for the toilet, only dish soap. It's kind of frustrating for the price,they reply to my message that I can come down get a new towels for the plates.they should place it when we check in, n our room. there is a supermarket across the street to get what you need. There are always men smoking pots. It doesn't look nice and clean. Under the bed you will see spider's web and dust( alot of it) The bathroom smells like paint. Then some kind of spice that stinks big time from 10pm the bed is hard especially the sofa bed, you will feel the division. you can't double lock the door inside, I place something at the door, morning it was in the floor, like someone attempted to enter.My son get rashes after our stay. This is not a quality aparthotel far to compare in Germany . Hope they improve."

"the property was great, spacious, comfortable and very clean. our son moved to Valenciennes from Colorado USA for school and we stayed here to help him get settled. the apartmentis close to everything. the host is wonderful, he helped us with things unrelated to the apartment. we will recommend this apartment to family and friends who come to visit our son, plus we will be back! .set.we"

"I stay here a few times a year. Rooms are a good size. Not luxurious but has the essentials and are clean and tidy. Town centre is 10 minute walk. Nice selection at breakfast."

"For the price the room and facilities were great. The room was large with an adjoining bathroom which had a separate toilet. The bathroom was huge with a double sink. The art deco theme runs through the hotel and it is very beautiful in the bar restaurant area. Food must be good as it appeared to be all locals eating there. Bar very good value for money and the free too up of wine very welcome. Very friendly staff. Close to the train station, ample parking on the side streets adjacent to the hotel. Downsides: I’m a wheelchair user, the ramp was at such an acute angle that it was too dangerous. So I had to get help to get up the few steps. The lift is extremely small and barely fit my wheelchair in, I had to pull up the foot rests and mine is a travel electric chair so it’s compact. So if you’re a wheelchair user I would not recommend this hotel. There was food in the mini fridge that was half eaten. The noise aspect was not the other hotel guests it was people who had left local clubs and decided to stand in the street screaming & shouting from 1am to 4am … we could not sleep but not the fault of the hotel staff. So if you need quiet then this may not be the place for you. The very bizarre carpet in the hallways was very strange and really does cause your eyes to deceive you, I dare anyone to attempt to navigate a straight line on it. "
