Altapura Hôtel & Spa Val Thorens

5.0 star property
9.4 out of 10, Exceptional, (161)
"Fantastic hotel, the staff was very nice and accommodating. Ski shop had great rental options and equipment was in very good condition. Ski room was nice and lockers had plenty of room for all gear for 2 people. Ate at Altayaki the first night and it was very good. Breakfast buffet was also amazing every morning. Would definitely recommend for a ski trip and would book again."

"**Disgustingly foul smell dirty rooms. ** Food terrible and everything cold. ** Travelodge sized rooms. **Rude staff and manager nowhere to be seen (hiding). ** Heater in the room did not work. ** Extensive mould in the bathroom. ** Dirty towels on the floor were hung up wet and dirty by service with no way to dry them at least. ** Manager was never available to discuss issues. ** I had to move hotels after 2 days. **I became ill with Norovirus and was violetly sick the day after I...

"Would not stay here again. Disappointed with the communication from staff (check in took almost 30 minutes despite being prepaid). Can hear every single word spoken by your neighbors and out in the corridors."

"Terrible. Would not stay here again. Power continuously went out. Extremely loud, could not sleep. Walls are so thin you can hear people outside and in every room. Floors were so dirty. Beds uncomfortable. Front desk does not help at all with any requests. Spend your money somewhere else. "

Résidence Montana Plein Sud

5.0 star property
8.8 out of 10, Excellent, (13)
"A well appointed apartment, in what appears to be a relatively newly built or refurbished block. Underfloor heating, nice bathrooms and furnishings, flatscreen tv's and a good kitchen. There is a nice pool & spa in the complex, and the boot room has heaters for boots and gloves. It is also genuinely a ski-in, ski-out boot room - although is slightly more painful if you need to get to childrens ski school which are up the hill, making it way, way quicker to actually march up the road instead and...

Le Fitz Roy, a Beaumier hotel

5.0 star property
8.6 out of 10, Excellent, (121)
"We stayed at Le Fitz Roy last year and enjoyed our stay so much we decided to stay again for this year's Val Thorens ski trip. This hotel is in the perfect ski-in-ski-out location at the bottom of the plain sud piste and also in the middle of town - ideal for bars, restaurants and shopping. On arrival we were allocated an upgraded room - which was very welcome and appreciated. Our room had a beautiful view of the mountains, a large bathroom with bath (but no shower) was well presented and very...
