"Our stay here was perfect! Our entire family loved it!!! Natasha was such a wonderful help throughout our whole stay and everyone around town was so nice. Even though it says to in the listing be sure to rent a 4x4 vehicle, you will NEED it for the drive away and many other locations during your stay! The kids are already asking when we will be going back!!!!! The pool was lovely and being surrounded by very friendly toucans, macaws and a sloth made it even more special. Can't wait to come visit again with our newest addition <3"

"We booked our week at La Libulela well in advance to celebrate our 60th wedding anniversary with our two sons and daughters-in-law. When we saw the pictures of the house and its location overlooking the Pacific on the south coast of Costa Rice on VRBO, we were sure this was the place we wanted to be for our anniversary. We arrived at La Libulela in the early evening after flights from three different places, and then took an almost 4hour drive in pouring rain most of the way. Needless to say we were exhausted, but we were met by Licho at an agreed gas station, who then guided us to the house. We definitely needed our 4x4 SUV to get there, but upon arrival Licho's wife, Darling, had (by pre-arrangement) the most delicious traditional Costa Rican dinner prepared for us. She cooked for us 5 nights of our 7 night stay. All were special. The house, pool, and grounds were even beyond our expectations, which were very high. Having three king-sized beds in our three beautiful en-suite bedrooms was wonderful. Our week flew by, with walks on the beach, ATV adventures, coffee farm tour, seeing a mother and baby finback whales, water falls exploration with a sloth sighting, relaxing in and by the pool part of every day day, visits to the house by a large white-face monkey family, as well as toucans and macaws, anniversary dinner at a restaurant right on the ocean, and most especially the warmth, welcome and friendship of our hosts, Licho and Darling. Truly a magical week."

"This is a piece of heaven on earth!! Peggy answered every question we had and gave us extra tips as well! Trina and Jorge were amazing and even (for a small fee) picked up some groceries for us and had those for us upon arrival! The villa is absolutely gorgeous and well appointed with everything you could possibly need! We are anxious to return!! "

"Pictures almost don’t do it justice. The house is new and super functional, but the outdoor areas are amazing. The pool, the outdoor kitchen—but even bette the landscaping. The area you drive through to get there is pretty basic , but everything you need (supermarket or gas or whateve) is super close. Once you open the gate to this house you are on an island unto yourself. We will be back for sure!"
