"I loved being in the jungle staying in a bus with ensuite bathroom and kitchen. The 10-minute walk to the beach was not strenuous and I virtually had that part of the beach to myself. There was a nice pool on the premises. I enjoyed the homey atmosphere and feeling like I was part of the family."

"Loved this place so much we booked to stay longer. Fantastic location just 5 mins walk from the national park beach which is stunning. The grounds of the hotel are lovely with two pools to cool down in after a hot day in the beach. Staff are exceptionally helpful snd kind. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel and a Mexican restaurant just along the road. We had the superior double room with a large kitchen and terrace so nice that we went to Maxi Palí supermarket at the end of the road and bought food to cook in the lovely kitchen. Now sitting in a hotel further up the coast and wishing we hadn’t left paradise "

"Wow, wow and more wow! Casa Bambu is a special, special place, and we were so fortunate to spend 6 magical days there. Peggy was wonderful answering my questions and providing recommendations before we arrived (and yes, get the 4x4 - you need it. I’ve been driving Costa Rican roads for 14 years, and the road up is no joke. But it becomes an incredible part of the adventure!) Jorge and Trina (property managers) were amazing and answered any questions we had. And the HOUSE!! The view is spectacular. You feel really secluded in a private, natural, calm, quiet oasis. We loved cooling off in the pool, sunsets on the loungers, morning time on the covered veranda watching the toucans, beautiful dinners in the eating nook and pre-sunrise snuggles in the beautifully appointed bedroom with the spectacular view. You have everything there that you need to chill, relax, cook great meals and connect with nature. If Casa Bambu is available, grab it! You will leave relaxed, re-energized and definitely believing in magic!"

"Hotel was nice property with good location in Uvita. Next door was a mix of eating places (Uvita Gastro Park). The staff was very nice and helping. The hotel appeared to be newer property. Also secure parking."

"While traveling with my family of 5, this house provided an amazing base for us to explore this beautiful country from. The house is large, flawlessly clean and in good order and situated right on the hillside surrounded by forest. We spotted macaws and toucans from the pool and could hear the howler monkeys in the distance (sometimes maybe not so distant) while enjoying our morning coffee. Natasha was accessible and easy to communicate with when we had questions. The lower level wifi did not work for the duration of our stay and I noted some other reviews mentioned this. This wasn't too important to us on this trip, but thought I'd mention it for anyone who that might be of importance to. Great hosts, beautiful place and an immaculately clean and wonderful home to stay in!"
