"This is a large house in a secluded area, 8 minutes drive from the beach and 20 mins into Cagliari city. There is ample room inside, in the conservatory and around the pool for 10 people. BBQ facilities. You need a car to go anywhere otherwise very self contained. Excellent host, who lives next to property."

"We had a comfortable and enjoyable stay and made good use of the many outside seating options. The neighbourhood is pleasant and quiet and there are many attractions within a 30 min drive and a range of food shops within a 10 mins drive. The local sandy beach is good but more like a 15 min walk than the 5 claimed. The property kitchen is looking a little tired and we couldn't find the advertised panoramic sea view! The addition of a very substantial cleaning and service fee (not shown on VRBO)...

Quiet location, easy walk to small local beach (Kayak and SUP hire) but car required to venture further afield. Small supermarket in walking distance. On site social club serving food (burgers etc). Good location with lots to do within 20mins drive. Pula town just up the road with big supermarkets, shops and lots of restaurants."

"The villa is beautiful and very quiet. Extremely clean and spacious. Comfortable beds and perfect space outside. This includes a couple of tables, sunbeds, chairs and outside kitchen. In der Küche viele Küchenutensilien vorhanden. Ruhige Lage, Supermärkte, Restaurants und Strände nicht weit entfernt. Auto allerdings Pflicht! Gastgeber freundlich und hilfsbereit. "We had a very pleasant stay at Villacool, Domus de Maria. The property is clean, well equipped, and great both indoors and outdoors. The swimming pool was notably in excellent condition. We mostly ate outdoors and the outdoor gas BBQ was much appreciated. The house is a little way inland, as shown in the property listing, and therefore away from busy tourist areas, which means there is a short drive to get places but also that the property is quiet and relaxing. Definitely recommended."

We also used the shuttle service to go to the nearby beach and it was great too. The furnishings in the room were up to date and the air conditioning worked very well. "Donato’s house is great. It’s in a superb location for the beach. The beach is superfine white sand and at the Cala verde end it’s stunning. The house is on a holiday village type arrangement. "Admittedly, it was out of high season, but this location is a hidden gem. Walking up to the sound of the waves will never get boring. The communication and check-in process was perfect. The only thing that brought my overall review down by one star was the comfort levels of the beds... which, by the end of the week, were making both our backs hurt. But honestly, the location made up for it."
