"I've stayed at 6 or 7 hostels between last year and this year. By far this Motomachi Yokohama Hostel is the cleanest. Facility is very new. Nothing is worn out or not repaired. The location is also amazing. It's on a high end shopping street with boutique fashion, jewery, pastery, grocery shops. Prices are not excessive. Yes, higher than Osaka but in returni get back higher level of comfort and convenience. "

"Loved the guest house. The staff were amazing, especially Moka. She was very helpful and kind and the first evening she made us takoyaki. The only downside is that it's a bit far from downtown. However, with the subway nearly everywhere it's really accessible including Yokohama, so it wasn't that bad. The area is nice and quiet and very safe. I will definitely come back."

"No staff on site, very noisy entry door can be heard all night by all guests on the first floor. Bedsheets has hair from another person suggesting they hadn’t been changed. Also, foreign residents of Japan are discriminated against at check-in by asking for passport information, which we are not required by law to provide. "

"Brand new hotel, we are one of the first customer, they just open the day we checked in so everything are brand new. very fancy and complete amenities, there is washing machine inside the room. The kitchen has complete set too. Very very spacious room for 2 adults and 2 kids. Not too far from Hatchobori Station. Family mart also nearby. We really love our stay and will definately book again"
