"The whole 'hotel' was not at all well kept. The decorating was shoddy to say the least. Whoever carried out the decorating is completely clueless - i could give many examples - all resulting in the actually cleanliness if the place coming into question. Not good at all. "

Very dirty: Table unwiped, dust everywhere, spider webs, toilet and bathroom full of small hair, microwave and fridge very dirty of food staines. Not clean at all. I had an impression the property was never cleaned, but also not prepared for new guests. Also, it was advertised as 3 bed house, whereas we were allowed to leave in 1 or 2 bedrooms. "Three generations met for a suprise 70h birthday. Chevalier Estate is ideal for this as each family group had their own space but we could get together in the magnificent Dragon Hall. The accomodations are exceptionally well thought out and equipped. "Less IKEA more Sophie Conran" as one daughter observed.
