"Very friendly and helpful manager, Oscar. Rooms were updated nicely. Property is beautiful and right on the river. One night Oscar and the owner (perhaps?) had a bbq and offered us food and drinks. So hospitable and gracious. Stayed here the nights before and after backpacking in Desolation Wilderness. Highly recommend."

"This motel has been recently remodeled, it's all clean, modern, fresh, and in a central location. Sam was very friendly and replied quickly to texts. The one downside is the room size - I had a normal room and it was tiny."

"Staff was very friendly and helpful, and allowed us a late check-out which was a life saver. The location can't be beat and the valet parking was very convenient. The view from our room wasn't great, and since the windows were mostly covered by trees the rooms were quite dark our entire stay. This was fine, maybe just not ideal."
