"I was due to arrive on Friday 27th Jan due to my 11 yr old son collapsing at school and being diagnosed with a serious heart condition I had to cancel the trip. The hotel refused a refund and when Expedia approached them on my behalf, they did not answer their phone or e-mails. Terrible customer service."

"When my wife booked this hotel for me we both saw the pictures they posted and it looked beautiful! When i got there i was sent to a building across the street. I entered the building and straight away did not like what i saw. None the less i went to the room. It was NOTHING like the advertised pictures and if i had seen this i would no way have stayed here. I have tried to enclose pictures of the real room offered but the add pictures button is not working. I moved the pillow and found it was...

"The property was excellent and the staff was wonderful! The area is a very small village but its very walkable, and has a quaint vibe about it. The staff was excellent, and though I didnt speak a great deal of German, and they didnt speak a great deal of english, they were very friendly, and even one very nice lady in the mornings was able to teach me some.German. This is a very nice place for a relaxing experience that near a large town, but still out of the way. "

"The hotel was in a stunning gorgeous area surrounded by the Alps. The staff was friendly. The room was great for our family of 4. We drove so the hotel location was easy for us. "

"The hotel is a traditional German Gasthof with rooms above a traditional Bavarian restaurant. The restaurant serves delicious food, slightly over priced, in my opinion. The room was perfect for me. The bed was comfortable, firm but not too firm. I would stay again in a heartbeat."

"The room was just about "OK". The surcharge for double occupancy over single occupancy for a double room was unreasonably high. Finally, when we informed the hotel three days in advance that we would NOT be having breakfast on our last morning, they still insisted on charging us for two breakfast, which was very upsetting."

"Very nice rooms with easy after hours check in process. Quiet, tranquil property. Friendly staff at breakfast buffet."

"In der Ankündigung war von Kaffee und Obst in der Gemeinschaftsküche die Rede... Nichts von allem war vorhanden. Eine Toilette war kaputt, dadurch nur ein komplettes Bad für das gesamte Haus (ca. 20 Personen). Haus ist auf dem Berg gelegen - für Radfahrer schwierig. Alles in allem sehr einfach und anonym. "
