"When we got to the hotel, we find it out of the city. Not as accessible as we thought it would be. But when we started exploring, it was not too bad. Train station is walkable, maybe 10-15 minutes walk. Restaurant at the spa is a bit pricey and no grocery store onsite. Small bottled water at the vendo is 3.85 euro. Umgebung auch sehr ruhig und dennoch in drei Minuten direkt auf dem zentralen Marktplatz. Einrichtung etwas in die Jahre gekommen, doch nicht abgewohnt. Frühstück stand zu meinem Besuch noch nicht zur Verfügung (noch in Planung). Mir persönlich war das Zimmer zu warm geheizt (Winterzeit), doch leider konnte die Heizung nicht runter reguliert werden. "Usually when I stay in smaller hotels in Germany, they look very old-fashioned and are not very clean. Landhaus Sixtmühle was just the opposite. My one-person room was extremely clean and modern. On top of that, the staff was very friendly and everything from the moment I checked in until the time I checked out went SO smoothly. I can highly recommend this place!"

"This is a shabby, dirty, and rundown hostel. Their website pictures must be photoshopped. Don't stay here if you can afford anything better. We were shocked as the pictures portrayed it in such better condition. Dirty bathroom, uneven dark halls with sheets hung across for a door. As well, the owner promised us a parking spot (two weeks prior in exchanged emails) for 10 euros and when we arrived, there wasn't any available and we were told our car would be towed.
