"We had a nice short stay. Place is close to town - walkable but dont attempt it midday - can be really hot. We had a couple of issues - fridge was very noisy - fan had to be replaced in the freezer. No hot water in the showers. It felt like the place was not checked before renting.. Samantha and Natasha were quick to respond and fix amost issues. "

"Great location. Loved that it was a little out of town. Has a nice automated gate to the villa. Host met us when we arrived and gave us a quick tour with recommendations of where to eat. Place had everything that we needed. (We never cooked there ourselves so don't know about kitchen items.) Has a washing machine. Also included a large jug of drinking water."

"Lovely hotel on the river. But the best part was Jose and staff. He/they did everything possible to make our stay special. I think the bedding could use an upgrade, but all else was perfect. Rico’s restaurant on site served excellent food."

"The unit is still being developed. We liked the country setting. But the dirt roads to get there are bumpy. Good value for the price. Very friendly & helpful hosts. Water pressure in the area is extremely low, something the hosts have no control over. But that makes taking a shower a challenging task. If we go back to the Spanish Lookout area, we'd be happy to stay there again. Frank"

"The property is amazing. Only received low score based on accuracy of listing. My cabin was not one that was pictured, however I did still enjoy the cabin and it was cool and comfortable. The pool was…. Not as clear as the pictures. The food from Jack at the bar was 10/10 phenomenal. I recommend the buffet and full English breakfast. The road coming up the hill is a little rough, but manageable. I enjoyed my stay. It was quiet and comfy. Very relaxing."

"The listing does not show the cabana in question. As we were the only guests at the time, we were given the option of 2 different cabanas neither of which matched the pics in the in listing. The cabana we ended up with had 2 very tiny bedrooms with no place to put our luggage. The washroom needed upgrades as the shower head was hanging on for it's life.
