"Owner Eugenio and wife Angela were the perfect hosts.. nothing was too much trouble.. arranged a friend to drive us shopping as we didn’t want to hire a car…recommended where to eat and drink..etc. Villa was beautiful so was the garden and pool. Highly recommend if you want to relax.. we even enjoyed the steep walk back to the villa after a few Aperole spritzers!!!"

"This house was beautiful and the pool was fantastic but the road to the house was very dangerous and guests definitely need a four wheel drive to get to the house. The house was a bit spooky at nights. Top floor was very noisy and everything shook when you moved and lots of noise from rats in the walls, and birds and shutters moving... so a bit scary for my taste. However Paolo was super nice and took very good care of us."

"The villa is pleasant enough situated just down the road from the village. We had several issues with it when we arrived but they were quickly sorted out by Claudia and her father who were both endlessly helpful. Watch out for biting insects which were a real plague despite insect repellent and citronella candles. Scopello is a pleasant little village with some nice places to eat. "We had a great time at Villa Carla, our host Ciro greeted us at different location on the main road so we would find the property, which is tucked just up the hill outside of Balestrate.
