"The landscaping was quite noisy in the morning. There were no laundry facilities on site, as indicated on Expedia. The staff were very friendly and the property is very well maintained. Adjoining restaurant is very good, convenient, and reasonably priced."

"Very nice room. Clean. Staff very nice and friendly. If you were wanting to use the jacuzzi, just know they only turn it on for an hour in the morning and from about 5:00-6:30 p.m. "

"The Staff particularly Francesco was very helpful, professional, and wanted to make our stay as pleasant as possible. We asked him so many questions and his patience was beyond. He offered us immediately something cool to drink due to the weather was so hot. Insisted in bringing in all our luggage. I would definitely recommend anyone to stay at the Riad! You can't be better cared for!!"

"There is no front desk, contrary to what is advertised. It seems like there has been a change of ownership or management as there was not the warm and supportive welcome that other reviews report. The communication was confusing, and frankly appalling. When got there my documents were demanded by a woman who hardly spoke a word of English, she was just there to let me in and give me the keys. She then demanded payment. After trying to explain and providing a receipt to prove see then put me on...

"Friendly staff, (call before you arrive). Helpful and they also explain what is nearby etc. The room was clean and comfortable. Not for the mobility impaired as there are stairs."

"The room was comfortable and just what we were looking for. Our two suitcases were left in Atlanta and the people at Camere Enny made numerous calls for us to the Palermo airport and to Alitalia. The café next door was a great place for snacks and sweets/coffee and beer. The quality of people and their friendliness made this a wonderful 2 night stay."

"We were delighted with our choice of Marina Di Petrolo. The hotel is bright, smart and very clean. Our family room for my wife, daughter and I was a very good size, nicely decorated and smart. The staff were so nice and friendly at all times, and were always willing to help. We were grateful for the wonderful room cleaning staff who tidied and cleaned our rooms every day. There was an excellent Italian breakfast option every day, including freshly-made coffee of your choice. The location is not completely central but all the main areas of the town are easily accessible by foot, which is better to do anyway! Nevertheless there's a spectacular view of the bay from both the breakfast room and our own room. We didn't use the swimming pool because it was winter, but it looked nice. It would have been nice to have had the option to have meals other than breakfast, but it wasn't difficult to find other places around town (including a terrific pizza delivery place directly opposite!). We would love to come back to Sicily and if we are in this part of the island, Marina di Petrolo will be a definite place to revisit."
