"Maca Villas & Residences Umalas far exceeded our expectations. The location was a great quiet reprive from the hustle and bustle of the surrounding area. The hospitality and service was absolute perfection, everyone went above and beyond to provide exceptional customer service. The sister Maca resort has a fantastic restaurant Mase and access to the Sonham spa facilities. The front desk can arrange a free roundtrip shuttle to the spa and sister property restaurant. Highly recommend a day at the spa which comes complete with gym, exercise classes, hot tubs, sauna, stream room, cafe, and some of the best massages I've ever had. Our villa was always cleaned and serviced quickly. The enclosed glass doors were crucial for us to avoid bugs and creatures, you can also fully open the glass doors if you prefer the ourdoor feel. We visited in the height of rainy season and were grateful for a fully enclosed villa. Daily breakfast was always fast and fresh, the restaurant staff really went above and beyond to provide exceptional and friendly service.The resort provide a daily 1-way shuttle service to the surrounding areas. The shuttles are very comfortable SUV's. There are plenty of taxis available on ride sharing apps as well. Major thanks to Yoga and the team for making our stay exceptional. We were so sad to leave and will definitely be back."

"They treated me excellent my entire stay. Everybody was so welcoming and the hospitality is superb. When I come back, I’m staying here again. The breakfast is awesome. They really know how to treat you well when you arrive. I’m ecstatic and I was here by myself from the US. I felt so safe and good. Property is clean and they went over and beyond for me. "The staff are lovely, really accommodating and will help in any way they can. It is a beautiful set up, although could do with a bit of renovation. The outdoor bath is a lovely idea but we didn’t use it because it was too old and dirty. The area is very busy and like most busy areas in Bali, pretty dirty and noisy. This hotel is particularly noisy on a Saturday night when we got no sleep at all. The overall though is if you want a decent hotel with amazing staff and this is the area you want to be in, it is great. "

"We had such a lovely stay with Imani Villas. Ketut and the team were so lovely and accomodating. The location was great with lots of yummy food options nearby. The house is not as new as others we have stayed at but at half the cost, it’s above what we expected and the staff were so lovely and beautiful we really enjoyed our stay and will be back. "

"BEWARE! Do not stay here tourists! I found insects crawling on my bed. There were toe nails on the floor! I found blood on the sheets. This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Staff is also rude, especially the guy who wears glasses and has no hair. Told him my ac wasn’t working and he came and started shouting at me. Worst stay ever! "
