"The room is quite big. We were a party of 4, so the room had 2 beds and 2 Japanese futons, which were all very comfortable. We went to the hot tub, which was located on the same floor as our room. "This is one of the most beautiful hotels I've stayed at. The design and functionality was unwatched. We had a personal onsen that was better than pictured and the closet and entryway provided lots of storage to keep our suitcases out of sight. I cannot reccomend this place enough. "So our last min trip left us with few practical hotels to chose from. I decided to try a Japanese styled hotel/hostel. That means sleeping on the floor and minimal furniture. "We really enjoyed our two night stay at this unique and comfortable ryokan. Our hosts are lovely people - all very kind and helpful. The onsen was a very pleasant surprise-I enjoyed the spa experience very much. Our room was large with a separate seating area to relax and look out at the mountain view. We also sat outside on our own deck. We had a quiet and comfortable sleep and we kept the small windows open at night to breathe the fresh mountain air. The area was only a five minute walk away...
