"Katari’s location is second to none: right in front of the main city plaza. The rooms were nicely appointed. There is no AC, just a fan, which we didn’t really need to use during our stay (early May). Breakfast on the rooftop offers a killer view of Plaza de Armas with the cathedral and volcano as a beautiful backdrop. Staff are super friendly and helpful. The plaza can get noisy at night, but is safe with lots of police officers around."

"My stay was only one night but I wished I had more time to explore and enjoy all the amenities that Los Tambos and Arequipa offers. My room was spacious and the bathroom was clean. I especially liked how they offer airport pickup and transfer for guests to make everything more accessible and convenient. My only gripe is that without my driver I would have missed the hotel completely because it blends in with the scenery."
