"This beautiful house is perfect for two or three travellers who want to be in the heart of a sleepy waterfront town with lots of heritage. The house is nicely updated and has all the necessary creature comforts and is a very short walk from the town's waterfront. "

"If you are looking for a spacious, well laid out house in a remote location, this is the place to be. The interior is tastefully decorated and true to the pictures. The screened in porch is priceless, it's where we spent the majority of our time with beautiful views of the creek without being eaten alive by mosquitoes. The pool, although very chilly, was nicely designed with the built in lounge area. The first step into the pool is a little tricky though and a handrail would be a great addition for safety!!! A couple of chairs in addition to the chaise lounges would be nice at the pool, especially for elderly people for whom the chaises are too low. There were plenty of dishes, towels, toys and games. The firepit was a cozy place to enjoy in the evenings. We would have loved to make smores there but understand it wasn't allowed due to the potential mess. I gave cleanliness 4 stars due to the fact that it seemed like the microwave and freezer drawer had not been cleaned (I'm sure just a one-time oversight), the carpet in the living room had several spots, and the cushions on the furniture in the screened in porch need to be cleaned (probably since we came at the end of the season). My husband's only suggestion is to stock the creek with a few more fish. LOL. He only caught 1 fish and 2 crabs off the dock (which were released back into the water). "We loved having a little bay beach in our backyard! We brought floats and a blow up pool, we swam and jumped of the dock at high tide. The kids fished of the pier and we relaxed by the fire pit. Excellent relaxing secluded long weekend. Dinner outside at Salt kitchen nearby was delicious! "
