"Property was older and it shows, was woken up one morning to people in the next room arguing. On one side of building there looks to be some old furniture from the rooms. However, other than those few little things, the property was clean and well kept, the staff was very friendly and welcoming. It is in a great area close to downtown Taylors Falls and Interstate State Park and other places in the area to go and see. "The property isn’t the newest but it is SO BEAUTIFUL! We got in super late and only stayed one night as we were traveling, but the room has a back porch overlooking the lake and it is very rustic and homey. The room we had was small but very quaint and perfect for me and my husband. We will definitely be back!! "

"It is an interesting property with lots of outdoor deck space. Inside there is a comfortable living room. The beds are older and not made to support someone who is 200 lb or more (I purchased a blow up air mattress). The kitchen is well provisioned. I was there for work so did not explore the lake, it looks a bit swampy near the house. You need to bring your own boat to do this."

"We had a family wedding in the area and gathered 3 couples with a few kids comfortably here. House was stocked with anything you'd need. We made a big breakfast and relaxed with morning coffee. Stayed indoors due to a busy mosquito season but enjoyed games and drinks both nights. Loved the big windows! Beds were comfortable and we all slept great. Owner was easy to communicate with."
