"We all enjoyed our stay for our Dad's 70th Birthday. The pool was used constantly! The house was very clean, well equipped and beds comfortable. The grounds and surrounding areas to the property are beautiful. Alan, the host was good at communicating and replied very quickly to any queries I had. My only gripe, which didn't detract from the stay at all, would be plastic cups for the pool area and maybe some pictures and ornaments throughout the house to make it feel more homely. Thank you...

Accommodation is clean and has everything one needs for comfortable stay. Big bonus is games room. One of THE BEST places we have stayed."

"We had an amazing sunny week in Gardenstown. Sunnyside House has a fabulous view over the village and out to sea. The sunsets are stunning! The house itself is clean, well decorated and and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The locals I met on my daily morning stroll around the village and along the beach were lovely and friendly. We loved Portsoy and Cullen and had some lovely beach and cliff top walks."

"The property was one of the best we have stayed in. It was well equipped with good quality items. The situation was very private so no disturbance. It was very comfortable and we liked the supply of excellent quality bath robes. Our only negative was the garden which was not nice.The patio area was full of weeds and could have done with some maintenance and perhaps some pots with shrubs or flowers to brighten up the place"

"Traditional cottage that has been renovated to a high standard. Everything you need, has been provided. Great extras included - such as logs for the fire and nice toiletries. A lovely welcome gift also, including one for the dog! Alan, the owner, met us on arrival and could not have been nicer. "The cottage is excellent. It is really well appointed and spacious. Garden is lovely and the dogs loved exploring the stream - sorry for the barking! Location is great for the coast, with some really beautiful beaches within a short drive. Overall, we loved the stay and would definitely return."
