"We had a wonderful few days despite mixed weather. The cottage is very well equipped, cosy yet spacious with lovely bright bedrooms upstairs, the owners were kind and helpful and the location is lovely, great walks along the river and lovely open outlook. We hope to return soon!"

Das Haus befindet sich etwas abgelegen vom Dorf Skene und liegt absolut ruhig. In der Unterkunft auf ist alles, was man benötigt vorhanden. Lediglich die "Kaffeemaschine" verspricht mehr, es ist eine einfache Nespressomaschine, die oft einige Geduld erfordert... Aber in Schottland sollte man ja Tee trinken. "Our GPS in the rental car wasnt working properly, so finding the cottage was a bit tricky to find, but once we did, oh my! What a great little place! Right on the water, with spectacular views- sunrise on the North Sea. The owner was easy to reach by phone and email. The cottage was well-equipped with everything we needed."

The house is so beautiful and cozy we immediately felt so at home, and the property was stunning, with beautiful fields and sheep and an incredible view all the way to the sea from the hot tub. "I received a warm welcome from the host and he could not do enough to make me welcome at the cottage. The cottage, as per the listing, is secluded and was ideal for my short break. If it is quiet and downtime you require then I recommend this property. "

"Been here now for 6 years over Christmas and new year. We love the peace and quiet and access to lovely walks with the dog. The house is ideal for those wanting to get away from it all and is equipped with everything you need. Although remote, Ellon is only 10 mins drive and Aberdeen just 30 mins so perfect if you want to get out. Highly recommended"

"Enjoyed our stay. The house is in an ideal spot overlooking the harbour. It is spacious and had everything we needed. The weather was mixed but we got out every day. The dolphins put in an appearance. There are good walks along the cliffs from the front door and plenty to do in the vicinity. Overall an ideal holiday."
