"I visited the Lara with the wife for a week mid march. I was a little worried as some of the reviews i had read had sort of put me off. I would say however that these bad reviews were in the whole were unjust. Yes the rooms are a little tired and could do with an uolift. The staff were fantastic. The food was mainly soft due to the amount of people having Turkey teeth. Tge bar was over priced and the shop across the road was just daylight robbery, however thus isnt the staffs fault. "The hotel was a perfect little hideaway from all the hustle of Yallakavick. It’s a little further out from Bodrum city centre so something to factor in if you want to be making trips to that part of town. But the service is excellent (Shaban basically planned my three day itinerary for me!), the view is beautiful and the bed is incredibly comfortable. A great place to unwind. "
