Sheraton Tunis Hotel
5.0 star property
7.6 out of 10, Good, (242)
"Great quality hotel, high end for Tunis. Very pleasant staff as I spoke only English, not Arabic or French. Had no problems conversing with front desk, room service or breakfast staff. The hotel was very safe as it sits on a hill looking down on the Tunisian Dept. of State and multiple embassies. I suspect it is used by diplomats as the security around the property was of high quality. The restaurants are very good. The breakfast buffet was extensive. I ordered room service one night with a...

Novotel Tunis Lac
4.0 star property
8.8 out of 10, Excellent, (49)
"We were traveling with two small children and felt that the setup in the superior room worked really well, with a spacious sofa bed and the TV console as smart design solution for room separation. The two bathrooms and big bathtub plus walk-in shower added hugely to our comfort. The view was non-existent (looking at an apartment building) and at night it could get a little noisy outside but nothing too disturbing. Otherwise the hotel was very quiet. The included breakfast was high quality,...

Dar El Marsa
5.0 star property
8.8 out of 10, Excellent, (205)
"A comfortable hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. A good location right on the front close to many restaurants and the beach. We had a sea view room which meant we were at the front of the hotel on a busy road which could be a bit noisy and the bathroom was small and not well designed with a large sink taking up too much room and the shower was over the bath which was so high it had a step to get in, not good if you're a little immobile. A very nice roof top bar and restaurant."

Four Seasons Hotel Tunis
5.0 star property
9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (207)
"Four seasons properties are always amazing but what sets them apart is the service which was unfortunately not up to the standard at this property. Service was slow and not attentive. However, after we pointed this out, we saw an improvement. We will be visiting again in the coming year so hopefully will see some positive change. Otherwise, the property is amazing the amenities are great and very family friendly!"

9.4 out of 10, Exceptional, (40)
"Very charming, family run hotel. Very friendly and helpful owners who always had time to chat or answer questions. Amazing home cooked meals are availabe upon request. They were delicious. Nothing to complain about. I only would like to mention about mosquitos at the courtyard by the pool ( mosquito spray was available) , also TV in my room didnt work ( no signal) . Not sure if it was only my room. Shampoo was missing in the bathroom. "

Carthage Hill

"- never got such a non-friendly welcome. We got blamed for not booking the more expensive room. We had the feeling of bothering them in their own house.. - no Hot water! even after complaining. Radiator not working too. we were there in December. So, imagine how we spent 2 nights without getting the CHANCE to take a shower in an ice-cold stinky room. - No good ventilation in bathroom, it was also smelling terribly all the time. - Pillows were solid hurting your neck when you slept. - Room was...
