"We had a beautiful traditional room with a little step out balcony right above the entrance. This hotel is in the middle of everything! Souvenir shops around you, boumbalini (fried dough for dessert), a sandwich place (basically one of the main shopping areas) but not loud AT ALL. Dar Zarrouk (really nice restaurant for dinner) is very close, we ate there every night. Also, dont forget to spend time on the terrace. I got up every morning for sunrise and each time I went up there, I had the whole...

Short vacation trip

"I was debating whether to stay in the medina or further out. I am glad I chose The Residence. Amazing short trip…staff make you feel truly welcomed, the hotel smells amazing, room service twice a day, live music, freshly squeezed juices and a lovely relaxing ambience. Anis the waiter and Anis the restaurant manager took good care of us. You can take cabs to the medina and places like sidi Bou Said. "
