"The room with the private pool was awesome. The staff was exceptional, friendly, helpful and polite. The restaurant is great, the menu amazing and the service is word class. "Staying here for 2 days was the best part of our trip to Costa Rica! We were treated like family! Albert Alonso the owner is a wonderful chef and he makes everything himself. From bread to pizza, pies and everything in between. He also went over and beyond and called around to find a personal guide to show us around the area that was honest and trustworthy. Thank you to the Alonso family!"

"Very cool place with good food and the staff was awesome. Location is pretty remote but worth the view. Would recommend only using vehicles with decent clearance. We had a Nissan rogue and that did the trick. "

"Met dank om ons oordeel te vragen. Dit hotel is reeds gesloten sinds november 2018. google maps bracht ons ter plastse. Daar stonden we om 17u. Voor een grote gesloten poort. Niemand ter plekke. Het bijgevoegd telefoonnummer werkt niet Wij zijn toen begonnen met het zoeken van andere ingang. In de omgeving was niemand die ook maar gehoord had van dit hotel. Alle mensen waren extreen behulpzaam. Om 9u. 's avonds terug op internet gezocht en daar stond een ander hotel nl eco villas...

"The friendly owner showed pride in the condition of his few cabins and was very helpful in showing us some birding areas. We also went on a trip looking for a specific bird as well. I had nice view from the private deck of the furthest cabin. The wifi was a bit spotty in a rain storm but I suspect most people have full time data on their phones. It was a good comfortable accommodation for a very reasonable price with tv and hot water and low cost meals were available if needed. Lots of birds on...

"If you want to be mire ir less off the geid in the mountains with spectacular views, this place is great. We made the trip in a small Hyundai, but I would recommend a car with a little more clearance if you have it. Views are amazing and the place is super quiet. Greay patio to enjoy everything."
