"Very cool place with good food and the staff was awesome. Location is pretty remote but worth the view. Would recommend only using vehicles with decent clearance. We had a Nissan rogue and that did the trick. "

"Staying here for 2 days was the best part of our trip to Costa Rica! We were treated like family! Albert Alonso the owner is a wonderful chef and he makes everything himself. From bread to pizza, pies and everything in between. He also went over and beyond and called around to find a personal guide to show us around the area that was honest and trustworthy. "Met dank om ons oordeel te vragen. Dit hotel is reeds gesloten sinds november 2018. google maps bracht ons ter plastse. Daar stonden we om 17u. Voor een grote gesloten poort. Niemand ter plekke. Het bijgevoegd telefoonnummer werkt niet Wij zijn toen begonnen met het zoeken van andere ingang. In de omgeving was niemand die ook maar gehoord had van dit hotel. Alle mensen waren extreen behulpzaam. Om 9u. 's avonds terug op internet gezocht en daar stond een ander hotel nl eco villas...

"The friendly owner showed pride in the condition of his few cabins and was very helpful in showing us some birding areas. We also went on a trip looking for a specific bird as well. I had nice view from the private deck of the furthest cabin. The wifi was a bit spotty in a rain storm but I suspect most people have full time data on their phones. It was a good comfortable accommodation for a very reasonable price with tv and hot water and low cost meals were available if needed. Lots of birds on...

"A lovely house between Orosi and Paraiso, overlooking the Orosi Valley. Not far outside Paraiso--Waze took us right there. The house is beautiful and comfortable and very well appointed and supplied. The owner is only onsite part of the time, but is promptly available via WhatsApp. Her onsite assistant doesn't speak English, but we did fine with a little bit of Spanish and WhatsApp with the owner who speaks excellent English. We want to return to Casa Bartzis on a future trip--it's a winner!"
