"This hotel absolutely blew our minds. The 30 minute drive off road was very beautiful and at first made us a little nervous but quickly realized with 4 wheel drive its very easy and fun! Once we got there... We were blown away. The staff. The rooms. The food. THE PRICE. 10/10. The natural pool area to me might be one of the most beautiful places I've ever been in my entire life and literally put tears in our eyes. The amount of hiking, exploring, and outdoor activities could fill an entire week. There are only 5 rooms so you feel like the entire property is yours and the staff knew our names only after 2 days. I will forever be amazed with this place and am even looking at building a villa there. GO THERE. Before the secret is out. "

"Gorgeous property, flowers, hummingbirds, river. Cabins basic but clean and comfortable. Quetzal watching early in the morning. Dining room nice with good food and service. "

"If you are looking for a private, remote, and authentic Costa Rican mountain experience, do not pass up the opportunity to stay here! The cabina is wonderful, and we loved sitting on the deck enjoying the view and the sound of the nearby creek. Walking up the hill past the waterfalls is a treat and the reward at the top is the view. It is like staying at a private national park. Bill is an absolute gem of a human and Ricardo, the property caretaker is lovely. Go to Truchas las Fuentes, a short walk away for the “Natural” trout plate that is so delicious. VRBO needs to add more stars to give. We loved our stay. Thank you, Bill!"
