"The home made for perfect stay for our family. The options for housing in this part of Maine are limited and this home was a very pleasant surprise. It made for perfect location for a family wedding in the area. We also discovered several hiking trails in the area and enjoyed the fall colors. Leanne (the owner) was very responsive and helpful."

"Easy house to have a nice time with friends. Very comfortable & well equipped, except for the kitchen, which could use more cooking & serving pieces. But the basics provided were good. We were four people for a few days and I wouldn’t have more due to the lack of a second toilet. Note a neighbor has a bunch of chickens & that’s what you hear, rather than the loons. Otherwise plenty nearby to do, see, and eat, and of course, the lake. "

"The house was a perfect place for the 10 of us to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. The 3 master suites worked out very well for our 2 adult daughters and spouses. Our 4 grand children had their choices of bedrooms and had plenty of space to play. The lower level theater room had ample floor space for games and watching iPads. We loved the spacious & well equipped kitchen. The large kitchen table easily accommodated the families at mealtime."

"The house was nice, newer updates and a step up from the typical lake rentals in Maine. The main floor has a nice kitchen, living room, dining, master bedroom and full bath. Wish the upstairs had more than a loveseat for gathering and watching tv. The downstairs is big, has a bedroom, living area, and half bath. The, property was nice except the construction in front of the house that we weren't told about till the day we arrived. It was understandable that it needed to be done but wish we were...

"This was a beautiful location. It was listed as 3 bedrooms and only 2 available. We had plenty of room for the two of us but had family in and thought we might be able to help out for those that didn’t have a place to stay. Not a deal breaker though. Need a curtain over the back door window in the master bedroom."

"This July we had a family reunion in Newport with 66 people attending. My large-ish family wanted to stay together and the accommodations in the lodge at Fogg Brook Resort could not have been more perfect. The space was large enough for 10 of us to be together without being on top of each other and the deck space added even more room for us to enjoy. We've recommended Fogg Brook's VRBO space to everyone at our event and will definitely stay there again!"
