"We were so impressed with Tackelbox! It was the perfect location for our last minute getaway for the bald eagle tour at Reelfoot State Park. The bed was so incredibly comfortable and for myself who has a bad back … it was like sleeping on a cloud! I wish more places would take the time to add the extra padding to the mattress! It was cold & rainy but the fireplace inside made it perfect to relax for the weekend. We will definitely book a stay there again!"

"We met Tina our first night at the property, she is a very nice lady and ensured to us if we had any problems she was right down the street and would be available at any time. Just need to give her a call and she would react quickly. The weather was cooler with steady winds, making the temperature a lot cooler than the thermometer showed. We were glad to get into the warmth of this clean house. When we go to Reelfoot we normally stay in smaller lodging, this year we had invited Family from both sides of our family’s, all six of us could not make it, but it would have accommodate all of us we had a wonderful time."
