"Been to this hotel a few times now and always enjoyed my stays. Quiet, well maintained and good breakfasts; not to mention the Spa facilities in the basement. Nice pool, steam-room and jacuzzi. Breakfasts can be manic early on, so unless its essential, a later sitting proves good. Rooms are large and bathrooms are large and modern too. Recommend"

"Amazing hotel which far exceeded expectations"

"I arrived after a week hiking and wanted a lovely place to both rest up and do a little work - this was recommended by an Uber driver and they got it just right. It’s in a great location in quayside - beautiful views of the river and millennial bridge, and it’s an easy walk to both restaurants and cool landmarks (cathedrals, castle, Lit & Phil.) Desk staff was very warm and friendly - so kind from the first word, and very helpful. Had a facial in the spa, which was very relaxing. Room service was quick to the room, delicious, and reasonably priced. Junior suite had a nice layout and was perfect for a few days when I also needed to get some work done. All in all, a perfect spot in Newcastle - my first time in the city (loved it!) and if I have the chance to return, I’ll choose Malmaison again! "
