"Duck Haven was the perfect getaway for my boyfriend and I. We were able to explore during the day and have a nice and cozy apartment to come back to at night. I loved being able to look out our window and see the sheep, and looking at the horses as we pulled up the driveway. Dona was a very accommodating host, and her tour of the sanctuary on the property was so interesting and fun!"

"Location is far enough that it's gave the quiet serene feeling we were looking for. We even got to see firefly's for the first time since we were all kids. The road leading to the house is unpaved so please be careful. The property manager stayed on property near by in case we needed anything. Apologies if we watched movies to loud."

"Great place. Very clean, and comfortable. I did have an issue sleeping. The bed would creek loudly when sat on, layed on, or even rolled over while trying to sleep. Very frustrating. Overall it was a fantastic place. I would return if in the area. (Would like a different bed frame)"
