"Friendly staff. Hotel maybe a little tired but a good base for skiing holiday. An 8 min walk from the Town centre and a little longer to the ski lift. For some reason the hotel shuttle did not go to courmayeur ski lift but only to Dolonne lift. "

"We have just returned from a week at Hotel D’Olonne (or should I say Chateau D’Olonne). We were excited before arrival, and we were not disappointed. "Great hotel in a quaint, rural village in the mountains. Fantastic restaurant that obviously has a chef that knows what he is doing! The views from our room were amazing, and the heavens gave us a spectacular lightshow - brilliant stars early, and then a fast-moving thunderstorm later. Great morning hike before a wonderful breakfast. Sorry that we had to leave such a peaceful place so soon. "
